He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Westby and Violet Westby (Hazeltine); his wife Patricia; and his granddaughter Elizabeth Westby. He is survived by: his close friend Deloria; his children, Alan Westby (Terri Spychalla), Charles "Chick" Westby (Kim Barbeau), Robert "Robb" Westby (Maggie Weir) and Dena Mercer (Bill); his grandchildren, Ryan Harrison (Kaaren Paras), Teresa Breitrick (Matt), Russell Westby, John Westby (Carolyn "Callie" Baumeister), Sam Westby, Stephen Westby, Jonah "Robyn" Re (Lily Gonzalier), Ian Mercer, Collin Mercer and Lauren Mercer; his great grandchildren, Sofia, Alexia "Lexy", Nicholas, Reagan Harrison, Sophie, James Breitrick and Jupiter Re; and his brother Ronald Westby (Nancy Houle). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
