Roman Salm Jr. Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roman Salm Jr. (Appleton, Wisconsin), who passed away on November 12, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Salm (Hietpas) and Roman Salm; his parents-in-law, Inez and Edward Ebben; his son Roman "Peter" Salm; his siblings, Ray, James "Jim", Harold "Ringo" and Jan Vande Hey; and his siblings-in-law, William "Bill" Jansen, Patti Salm and Lisa Ebben.

He is survived by: his wife Virginia (Ebben); his grandson Paul (Emily); his children, Nico, Béla, Finn, Harper, Patrick (Jennifer), Aubree, Rowan and Declan; his great grandchildren, Sienna and Roman; his siblings, Doris Jansen, Marian Vande Hey (Jack), Jerry "Soupy" Salm (Lois), Cathy Bauer (Dick), Bob Salm (Gail), Dick Salm (Peg), Deb Halverson (Steve) and Anne Higgins (Glenn); his in-laws, June Pynenberg (Dan), Adrian (Lynn), Mary Vosters (Mark), Sherry Leatherbury (Tim), Mark Ebben (Mary), Mike Ebben and Ken Vande Hey (Carol); and also, Michelle, Zipporah and Sam. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and countless friends.
