It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell J. Burton of Appleton, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 13, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Burton and Margaret Burton (Bronold); and his brothers, Norman and Neil Burton. He is survived by: his wife Vaugn Dempsey; his children, Shawn Burton (Becky), Cindy Alexander (Harry), Scott Burton (Sheila Lazar), Lisa Burton Bradford, Jeff Burton (Susan) and Dean Burton (Jean); his grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob Burton, Chris Mark, Selena Alexander, Tyler (Melanie), Ryan, Matthew Burton, Lizzie and Connor Burton; his great grandchild Charlotte Mae; his siblings, Harold Burton (Bonnie), Ruth Shepherd, Rita Young, KathyJean Happersett and Roy Burton (Marlene); and his sisters-in-law, Pat Burton and Sharon Dishmaker. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends.
