She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Verhagen and Helen Verhagen (Wilson); her siblings, Richard Verhagen (Luanne), Frank Verhagen Jr. and Nancy Vander Zanden (John "Popeye"); her brothers-in-law, Lyle Van Dyn Hoven and Jim Fiedler; her parents-in-law, Edmund and Delia Spang Sr.; and her brother Dennis Dvorak (Delia "DeeDee").
She is survived by: her siblings' children, Nick, Josh, Sydney, Dylan and Jacob; her husband Ed Spang; her children, Tara Pearce (Scott) and Jason Spang (Kristina); her granddaughters, Emma and Maggie Pearce; her sisters, Janet Fiedler and Ginger Van Dyn Hoven; her sister-in-law Jane Verhagen; her brother Edward Spang; and her sister-in-law Laura Olson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and friends.
