We are sad to announce that on January 17, 2023, at the age of 93, Shirley A. Schutt (Appleton, Wisconsin) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father John Knopp; her husband Roland "Rollie" Schutt; her daughter Barbara Ross (Dennis); and her siblings, Marion Martens (Pete) and John Knopp (Gretchen).
She is survived by: her children, David Schutt (Carolina), Debra Pierre, Jeffrey Schutt (Pia) and Susan Marriott (James); her grandchildren, Melissa Pierre, Adam Pierre (Mindy), Christopher Ross (Janelle), Jennifer Otero (Anthony), Kristen Niven (Ewan), Hanna Coughlin (Kevin), Michael Schutt (Erin), Steven Schutt, Thomas Schutt (Whitney), Marvin Marriott and Maxwell Marriott; and her great grandchildren, Jacob Ross, Aydan Otero, James Niven, Caspian Niven, Chase Pagel, Madyson Lloyd, Caleb Pierre, Keegan Demuth, Stella Schutt and Mason Schutt.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 930 East Florida Avenue, Appleton, Wisconsin 54911, or to Journey21, Inc., 2727 North Grandview Blvd., Suite 301, Waukesha, WI 53188, which is a nonprofit co-founded by Shirley's daughter, Susan for the sole purpose of providing safe, supportive, and enriching living and learning options for adults living with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
