We are sad to announce that on September 13, 2022, at the age of 87, Shirley Anne Kohl of Appleton, Wisconsin, born in Green Bay, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Maes and Ethel Maes (DeKeyser); her husband Clayton; her parents-in-law, Theron and Alice Kohl; and her siblings, Barbara "Boots", Judy, William Jr., Jeannie, Jillaine, Terry "TJ", Eugene, Marion (Rudy) and Jim (Bev).
She is survived by: her children, David Kohl (Traci Lappen), Diane Kohl (Alvin Grambsch), Daniel Kohl, Donna Gerken and Dennis Kohl (Jacquelyn Sassman); her grandchildren, Angela Meier (Jason), Allison Kohl (David Pontow), Annette Greenwald, Benjamin Holzschuh, Brianna Holzschuh, Faith Aznar, Jesse Kohl, Amber Gerken (Will Meyer), Krystal Coon, Tegan Kohl, Dylan Kohl (Maryea Danischefsky), Haley Schott (Justin), Avery Zuleger and Shyanne Zuleger; her siblings, Jackie Stiltjes (Clarence), Joy Maes and Joni Eberle (Ernie); her siblings-in-law, Dr. Robert Kohl, Phil Brandt and Chloe Maes; and her friend Cris Barilli. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family, neighbors and friends.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established.
