He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Firszt and Alice Firszt; his daughter Elizabeth Firszt; his brother Raymond Alan Firszt; and his stepson Radcliff.
He is survived by: his wife Gwen; his children, Michael Firszt (Amber), Paul Firszt, Ann Marie Dexter and Brittene Ross (Musa); his stepchildren, Dwight, Deserine, Cheryl and Karen; and his siblings, Robert Firszt, Jeane Marie Mitchell (Robert) and Lois Ann Collins (Cedric). He is also survived by three grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
