We are sad to announce that, on February 2, 2023, at the age of 88, Theresa D. Short of Appleton, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter C Griesbach and Mary Griesbach (Sanderfoot); her husband Frank E Short; her siblings, Catherine McGuire (Howard), Germain Griesbach, Frances Timm (Dave), Margaret (Jim Kuba), Marcella Griesbach, Merlin Griesbach (Willa), Donald Griesbach (Jane), Kitty Nuxoll (Don), Stella Wood (Roger) and Ronald Griesbach; and her siblings-in-law, Joe Penterman, Joe Short (Irene), Anne Jarchow (Karl), John Short (Frances), Helen Jach (Ed), Rose Foley (Bob), Kate Short and Mary Larson (Gordy).

She is survived by: her children, Mike (Sheboygan), Sandy (Jim), Phillips (Lakewood), Susan (Pete), Cindy (Joe), Rosanne (Ron), Jeff (Seymour), Tim (San) and Shelly (Chad); her siblings, Laverne Stein (Menasha) and Gerald (Maria); her siblings-in-law, Ming Griesbach and Mike Short (Mona); her grandchildren, Amy Saarem (Tim), Heidi Buchanan (Jonathan), Bob Short (Erica), Jason Schultz (Jane), Nathan Schultz (Lindsey), David Stachowiak (Sage), Melissa Stachowiak, Emily Chady (Patrick), Alison Hart, Sean Hart (Sierra), Rachel Chang (Thai), Ryan Peeters (Michele), Robin Volkman (Matt), Brooke Short, Hunter Short, Sierra Short, Marissa Hart and Zach Hart; her great grandchildren, Madeline Saarem, Lucie Short, Margot Short, Cora Short, Emeline Schultz, Isla Schultz and Phillip Chady; and her stepgrandchildren, Shelly Gifford (Scott), Jaime Phillips (Lisa), Staci Kivi, Kaitlin Kilgore and Marc Kilgore. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and cherished friends.

In lieu of flowers Memorial gifts may be made in her name to St. Edward Catholic Church.
