He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Steffens and Mary Therese Steffens (Platten); his siblings, Helen Lampert (Phillip), Agnes Cooper (David) and Elmer Steffens (Cindy); his brother-in-law Donald Worm; and his grandson Lance Steffens.
He is survived by: his wife Denise E. Behm; his siblings, Mary Worm and Alvin Steffens (Gus); his children, Lee Steffens, Chris Malchow (Rick), Karen Schneider (Doug), Linda Kopiske (Tom), John Steffens and Mike Steffens; and his grandchildren, Leah Sonnenburg, Richard L. Malchow (Melissa), Caralyn Goza (Justin), Ryan Malchow (Mia), Ben Gossens, Renae Nider (Aaron), Ross Kopiske (Robyn), Rachel Kopiske, Valerie Johnson (Jake), Erin Steffens (Kyle Girard), Brooke Steffens and Jordan Steffens. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Bernadette Catholic Church (2331 E Lourdes Dr, Appleton, WI 54915). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
