Virginia L. Hinkens Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on November 1, 2023, at the age of 82, Virginia L. Hinkens of Appleton, Wisconsin, born in New London, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Kester and Helen Kester (Kaufman); her husband J. Duane Hinkens; her daughter Dawn Hinkens; and her siblings-in-law, Romy Hinkens, Daryl Hinkens, Dick Hahn, Beata Hahn, Barb Hinkens and Bonnie Thews.
She is survived by: her children, Jay Hinkens (Beth) and Lynn Hinkens; her grandsons, AJ and Tim Hinkens; her siblings, Barb Schlafer (Phil), Molly Tews (Bob) and Rodger Kester (Nina); her siblings-in-law, Don Thews and Mary Hinkens; Bob, Julie Berg, Stephen Berg (Karmen) and Kevin Berg. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for the Appleton Elks Lodge #337.
