With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Virginia Carolyn Mewhorter of Appleton, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 22, 2025 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her parents, Virginia Hamilton and Earl Hamilton; her grandfather Tate; and her brother Arthur. She is survived by: her husband Terry Mewhorter of Appleton; her children, Leslie Marchal Villasenor (David) of Chicago, Joseph Marchal (Chie) of Henderson, NV and Jessica Woods of Chicago; her friend Vicky Olenski (Mike) of Appleton; her siblings, Jo Merilyn Wooters of Petoskey, MI, Sandra Hamilton of Oslo, Norway and Earl Hamilton of Nelson, B. C.; and her grandchildren, David (Symone), Maria (Brendan), Yuuto, Reina, Sarah, Nora (Jeff), John Patrick and Joseph. She is also survived by her many, many wonderful friends.
