He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold Blaschko and Irene Blaschko (Dailey); his son Joey Blaschko; his brothers, James, Dale and Gordon; and his brother-in-law Paul Dettloff.
He is survived by : his wife Karen Platteter; his children, Jenny Luethi (John) of Arcadia and Jason Blaschko of Arcadia; his siblings, Chuck (Jo) of Arcadia, Dave (Shelby) of Independence, Lori Herbert (Tom) of Prior Lake, MN and Lisa Guza (Bob) of Independence; and his siblings-in-law, Janice Blaschko of Arcadia, Judy Mettlach (Lenny) of Watertown, Joan Dettloff of Arcadia, Gayle McDonald (Steve) of Winona and Dave Platteter (Ann) of Arcadia. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Al's honor may be donated to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 7023 Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.
