He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Sobotta and Katherine Sobotta (Swietz); his wife Mary Lou; and his siblings, Eugene, Orlando, Cornelius, Jerome, Dominic, Frank and Bernice Klonecki.
He is survived by: his children, Ann Powers (Scott) of Chippewa Falls and Sam Sobotta (Anita) of Arcadia; his grandsons, Jordan Manka (Amber) of Trempealeau, Jared Manka (Megan) of Whitehall, Cole Sobotta of Arcadia and Max Sobotta of Arcadia; his great grandchild Jayce Manka; and his sister-in-law Jane Abts. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
