It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernard Rear of Argyle, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 18, 2026, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Burnette Rear and Edna Rear (Hendrickson); his parents-in-law, William K. and Inga Johnson; his grandchild Chadd Hackl; his siblings, Grace Wagner, Virginia Erickson and Maurice Rear; and his siblings-in-law, Calvin Erickson, John Wagner, Amos, Herbert, Ralph, Keith Johnson, James Johnson, Cecil Burmeister, Leo McGrath, Harry Anderson, Howard Morgan, Mike Wahl, Marian Rear, Frances Johnson, Lillian Burmeister, Winona McGrath, Lenore Anderson, Elva Morgan, Donna Wahl, Carrie Johnson and Helen Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Nita; and his children, Bruce (Maryellyne) of Arygle, Steve (Lynn) of Argyle, Kathy Hackl (Greg) of Florissant, MO, Holly Adams (Gerry) of Brookfield, WI and Gary (Heidi) of Darlington. He is also survived by 22 Grandchildren, 22 Great Grandchildren, and 9 Great-Great Grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews and close friends.
