He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Konetsky and Alberta Konetsky (Kutta); and his brother Ronald Konetsky. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Larrabee (Gene) and Charles Konetsky; his grandchildren, Yolanda Olive (Brandon) and Rae Malcore (Zach); and his close friend Janice Byrne. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.

“I am very sad to hear about Don's passing. I met Don in 1952 during my freshman year at Riverside. Brookfield high. We got along very well and became great friends. Don taught me many things about hunting, fishing and trapping. After high school I went on to college and entered the navy as a pilot and then as a pilot for the airline, during this last year we talked many times before he passed. I wish his family well. I will miss him very much and remember the good times we had.”
