David D. Bender Obituary
With solemn reverence, we commemorate David D. Bender of Arpin, Wisconsin, whose life came to an end on June 8, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Bender and Mabel Bender (Broihier); his sister Mae; his brother-in-law Marv Hemp; his sister Elaine "Johnny"; his brother-in-law Ralph Dorow; his sister June; his brothers-in-law, Hilmer "Bud" Dudei and Gordon Meddaugh; and his stepson Richard Carolfi.
He is survived by: his children, David Bender of Granton, WI, Debbie Schillinger (Korey) of Stratford, WI, Darrell Bender (Kim) of Marshfield, WI, Donna Maurer (Franz) of Greenville, WI and Holly Reckner (Shawn) of Marshfield, WI.; his wife Beverly Bender; and his sister Lorraine "Topsy" Meddaugh (Bender). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church - Pittsville (8313 2nd St, Pittsville, WI 54466). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests charitable donations in memory of Dave to be payable to the Granton FFA or the Wisconsin Geological Society.
