He was predeceased by: his parents, Walden Petersen and Bernice Petersen; his brother Warren Petersen (Charlene); his brother-in-law Roger Marquardt; and his parents-in-law, Merlin and Lorraine Rose.
He is survived by: his spouse Aryllis Rose; his children, Jody Thompson (Ivan), Jay Petersen, Jana Petersen and Jeff Petersen; his grandchild Kirstin Dorn (Brian); his great grandchildren, Charlotte and Rosalyn; his grandchild Kelsey Bokath (Cody); his great grandchildren, Gage and Brantley; his grandson Tyler Petersen; his siblings, Allen Petersen (MaryLee) and MaryEllen Marquardt; and his siblings-in-law, Harold Rose (Shelby), Donald (Lori Carter) and Bernice Sheehan (Tom). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be written to Clement J. Zablocki VAMC and the family will forward to the Palliative & Hospice Care unit, as Dad received outstanding care from the staff in his last months of life.
