He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles E. Nemec and Josephine E. Nemec (Lee); and his brother Charles Gale Nemec. He is survived by : his wife Diane Anderson; his sons, Lee, Keith Nemec (Jill) and Patrick; his sister Faith Ann Pfankuch; and his nieces, Sherry Huhn, Ann Boehmer, Beth Mueller, Cecelia, Ella and Margaret McBride. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Regional Hospice, in Ashland.
