He is survived by : his mother Ida Florence Laakonen (Magdziak); his children, Lisa and Richard Laakonen (Lyndsay); his sister Donna Maslanka (Mike); and his grandchildren, Richard Jr., Memphis and Josephine. He is also survived by many other extended family and friends.
