With sadness, we share the passing of Gerald C. Kontny of Ashland, Wisconsin. Gerald, born on April 23, 1941, passed away on July 10, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Kontny and Helen Kontny (Melstrand); his brothers, Larry, Butch and Jim Kontny; and his sister-in-law Judy Kontny.
He is survived by: his former wife Janice Kontny; his children, Kevin Kontny (Denise), Brian Kontny and Cheryl Lake (Larry); his grandchildren, Kristin Jacobs (Sam), Cory Kontny (Sarah), Jordan Pulse, Jayden Pulse and Brodie Baffone; his great grandchildren, Ayden Jacobs, Robert Kontny (RJ) and Callen Jacobs; and his siblings, Ken Kontny (Joanne), Rich Kontny (Jean) and Andrea Tomlinson (Steve). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
