She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Matyas and Susan Matyas (Brilla); her husband Joseph F. Croteau, Jr.; and her son Joseph Michael Croteau (Katie Saarinen). She is survived by: her children, Lynn O'Connell (Hilding Branzell), Edward Croteau (Tammy) and Micheile Ujke (Scott); and her grandchildren, Shawn, Chris O'Connell (Jessica), Kayla, Sierra Ujke, Caleb, James, Frankie Croteau and Sylvan Saarinen. She is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to Regional Hospice of Ashland (1913 Beaser Avenue Ashland, WI 54806) in Helen's honor.
