Hafstad; his children, Elizabeth A. Behrendt, Jennifer L. Bartels (Peter), Thomas A. Kegel (Martha), Marcy J. Madson and Kari L. Chance; his grandchildren, Samuel J. Behrendt, Madeline L. Behrendt, Noah T. Orgeman, Elliott N. Orgeman (Rory), Ethan W. Bartels (Reis), Emma E. Gonzalez-Garcia (Jaime), Cooper J. Bartels, Tanner T. Kegel, Chase J. Booth, Dara L. Madson, Gracia L. Madson, Lucas B. Chance and Aidan J. Chance; his great grandchildren, Norah M. Paycer, Isla E. Paycer, Solomon T. Paycer, David J. Lund and Charlie S. Lund; his brothers-in-law, Michael J. Bietka and Brian J. Nagro; his nephew Joel B. Nagro (Laura); and his nieces, Jodi B. Johnson and Jill B. Garrington (Rob). He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
In honoring Skip's journey with Alzheimer's disease, the family asks that compassion be extended to the caregivers and families that walk this difficult path.
