She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Halfaday and Jane Halfaday (Wayman); and her siblings, Dale Halfaday, John Halfaday, Joseph Halfaday, Charles Halfaday, Michael Jr. Halfaday, Cecelia Duff and Sharon Halfaday.
She is survived by: her husband Mark Shubat; her children, Ted White (Melanie) and Kris Shubat; her nieces, Teresa Landry and Bella Powell; her siblings, Stella Schutte, Emogene Basley, Bob Halfaday (Kris) and Leonard Halfaday (Jolene); and her close friends, Mikk and Jackie. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bad River Community Center (72772 Elm St, Ashland, WI 54861). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
