He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Kastern and Jerry Kastern; and his brothers, John Kastern and Daniel Markeson (Theresa). He is survived by: his wife Pat; his sisters, Christine, Susan and Judy; and his children, Danielle Greene (David "Shaka" Mitchen), Kevin Greene (Michelle Johnson), Michael Kastern (Melissa), Lisa Struck (Bill) and Aaron Kastern. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mountain Funeral Homes - Ashland (220 3rd Ave E, Ashland, WI 54806). A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
