Though Joanne Ruth may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Kurensky and Ruth Kurensky (Richard Malmberg) of Ashland. She is survived by: her husband Richard Malmberg; her brother Paul Kurensky (Dawn); her children, Stephen Malmberg (Elizabeth) and Pamela Rehnelt (John); and her grandson Benjamin Rehnelt.
She continued to knit for many years and donate hats and mittens to children in need.
