With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jonathan H Gilbert of Ashland, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 3, 2025 at the age of 72. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jonathan H Gilbert to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Gilbert and Jacqulyn Gilbert (Keller); and his brother Timothy Gilbert. He is survived by: his wife Judy Weed; his sons, J. Ryan Gilbert (Sarah) and Daniel Gilbert (Melissa Stoneburner); his grandsons, David and Peter; his siblings, Christian Gilbert (Linda), Jeremy Gilbert (Barbara), Jennifer Gilbert (Stephen Byrd) and Melissa Gilbert; and his sister-in-law Liz Gilbert.

A reception will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be sent to: Great Lakes Indian Fish and Wildlife Commission in honor of Jon.
