It is with sadness that the passing of Nicholas Emil Jarvela of Ashland, Wisconsin is shared. Nicholas, born on May 25, 1947, passed away on June 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Waino Jarvela and Lillian Jarvela; his sister Jeanne Giackino; and his brothers-in-law, Rich Giackino and Roger Suomi.

He is survived by: his wife Juleanne Suomi; his sons, Greg (Amy) and Jeff (Lisa); his grandchildren, Ike, Owen, Jack, Annika and Reid; his brothers, Rodney (Kate) and Jerrold (Donna); and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Suomi and Marvin Suomi. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are preferred, as a memorial fund is being established.
