He is survived by : his wife Kym Nye (Wassgren); his brother Nick Nye (Donna); his children, Krystal Ehlers (Grant), Hayley Nye and Ricky Nye (Kristin); and his grandchildren, Ethan Ehlers, Madisyn Nye, Evie Nye, Caleb Ehlers and Nora Nye.
