He is survived by: his parents, Carol Wartman (Erickson) and David Wartman; his son Brett; his siblings, Michael, Timothy (Brenda) and Connie Nelson (Jeff); and his nieces and nephews, David Wartman (Sara), Joseph Nelson, Charlene Wartman, Katherine Karsonovich (Torin), Kristyn Wartman, Katy Wartman and Kayla Wartman.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Lady of the Lake School.
