We are sad to announce that, on August 21, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Robert K. Maxwell (Ashland, Wisconsin), born in Winona, Minnesota. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Maxwell and Eugenie Maxwell (Baumann); and his brother Alan. He is survived by: his wife Sonja Smitterbergh; his daughters, Leesa (Randy Wegener) and Laura; his sister Marjorie Fernald; his daughter Susan Schleisner (Jed); his grandchildren, Max Greger (Jessica), Jesse Maxwell (Suzie), Rachel, Linnea Wegener, Ceci and IsabellaSchleisner; and his great grandchildren, Alyssa, Makayla, Kaylee and Carter.

“I had one Earth Science class with Professor Maxwell. He was a dedicated teacher; but his delivery style was perhaps a tad on the dry and limited in it's intensity. Although truth be told the material he presented would not usually set your heart racing. One student took it upon himself to erase all three boards of notes that Bob had prepared in advance, and replaced the entire board. with six completely obscene words that I cannot repeat. I did not know Proff. Maxwell personally but may he Rip.”
