He was predeceased by: his parents, James Franklin and Kathleen Bishop McCormack (Donohue). He is survived by: his wife Linda McCormack; his daughters, Shelly Shown (Jerry) and Shannon "Abby" LeClair (John); his grandchildren, Rosalynn (Trevor), Carter (Caygan), Wesley, Eli, Justus of Hayden, J. D., Cooper and Annabeth; his stepgrandchildren, John and Morgan; his great grandchildren, Callahan and Clarke; and his brothers, Jim (Tracy), Jerry (Rita) and Tyler (Kathy).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Denny's honor to the Wounded Warrior Project.
