It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Schmollinger of Athens, Wisconsin, born in Hillsboro, Illinois, who passed away on January 11, 2026, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lynn Schmollinger and JoAnne Schmollinger; and his brother Edward. He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his children, Ed Schmollinger (Emily), Anna Koopman (Kevin), Angela Schmollinger, Anthony Schmollinger and Andrew Schmollinger (Abigail); his grandchildren, Penelope, Zac, Ava, Ella, Clara, Isaac, Jeremiah, Samuel, Violet and Lilliana; and his siblings, Linda Schmollinger and Larry Schmollinger. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
