She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Weiler and Sophie Weiler (Post); her brother Eugene Weiler; and her son-in-law Jerry Dassow. She is survived by: her children, Lorna Roesler (John), Cindy Dassow, Dale Rodman (Christine), Mary Braun and Sarah Rodman; and her sister Eileen Faucher (Jerry). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Foundation in memory of Vernell.
