She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Kersten and Gertrude Kersten (Holmgren); her husband Gene VanDien; her brother Chuck; her nephew Todd; her niece Tina; her brother-in-law Larry Ness; and her nephew Craig.
She is survived by: her children, Dave (Suzanne) of Hackensack, MN and Deb Morse (Larry) of Mendota Heights, MN; her grandchildren, Anna Mae, Allen, Abby, Isaac, Matthew and Veronica; and her sisters, Joyce Waller (Gordon), June Ness and Carol Zevenbergen (Willy).
In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials made to the First Baptist Church in Woodville, WI.
