He was predeceased by: his son James D. Swan IV; and his brother Dick. He is survived by: his wife Martina; his children, Mike (Kathy), Kathy (Ej), Jennifer (David) and Molly (Mike); his stepdaughters, Dominique and Michele (Eric); and his sisters, Merilee, Judy (Don) and Edie (Jim).
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (16770 13th St S, Lake St Croix Beach, MN 55043).
