With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gordon Norman Hanson of Balsam Lake, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 30, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his wife Barbara Ann (Sherman); his parents, Noble Hanson and Betty Hanson; his parents-in-law, Victor and Pearl Sherman; his brothers, Hartwick Hanson and Alden Hanson; and his siblings-in-law, Jack Sherman, Kenneth Smemo, Gerald Atkins, Shirley Hanson, Beverly Hanson and Janis Atkins.

He is survived by : his daughters, Melinda Hoelscher, Mary Ann Hanson and Amy Green (Jim); his grandchildren, Luke Hoelscher, Elizabeth Bell (Dave), Andrew Hoelscher, Charlie Green and Nick Green; his great grandchild Mara Bell; his sister Norma Bohman (Denny); his sister-in-law Suzanne Smemo; and his pet Dixie. He is also survived by eleven nieces, four nephews.
