He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Miller and Viola Miller (Wehrs); his wife LaVonne "Bonnie" Thielker of John's Lutheran Church; his daughters-in-law, Shelly Miller and Mary Miller; his parents-in-law, Wilbur and Helen Thielker; his brother William Miller; and his siblings-in-law, Janice Lash, Betty, Ramon Stelloh, Joyce and LaVern Horstman (Pat).
He is survived by: his children, Randy Miller (Susan), Duane "Zeke" Miller, Todd Miller and Pamela Schomburg (Gary); his grandchildren, Jennifer Kloehn (Jon), Sarah Riley (Joshua), Matthew Miller (Amanda), Jason Miller (Kasey), Linzi Miller, Ashley Elwill (Frank), Troy Schomburg (Aimee), Maria Richardson (David), Christopher Miller (Lesley), Carrie Freitag (Brandon) and Caleb Miller (Lauren); and his brother-in-law Gary Thielker (Robin). He is also survived by 22 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family requests, in lieu of flowers, memorials in honor of Herb and Bonnie be directed to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or St. Paul's Lutheran School.
