He was predeceased by: his parents, Levi Cavadini and Emma Cavadini (Kneifl); his sisters, Theresa Clements, Levina Hauser and Lorraine Steinhoff; and his siblings-in-law, Alice Mashak, Ruth Mashak, Karen Mashak, Evelyn Mashak, Duane Mashak, Lyle Mashak, Bernard Clements and Paul Hauser.

He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Mashak of Peter's Catholic Church; his son Thomas Cavadini (Sandra) of Rockland; his grandchildren, Jason Cavadini (Megan) and Caley Rucker (Brett); his great grandchildren, Levi Cavadini, Milo, Alina Griswold, Alexsa and Ellianna Rucker; his sister Jane Anderson (Dennis); and his siblings-in-law, Sandra Borreson (Jerry), Loretta Stremcha (Arnold), Kenneth Mashak (Louann), Richard Steinhoff, Charles Mashak and Eugene Mashak (Kenna). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Peter's Cemetery or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
