He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter H. Elsen, Sr. and Leona Elsen (Bushek); his son Marty; his siblings, Madonna (Duane Leis), Mary Ann (Ray Sedevie) and Gary Elsen; and his parents-in-law, Fredrich and Anna Mae Schroeder.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Schroeder (Schroeder); his children, Annette Niedfeldt (Dennis), Sandy Loken (Roy) and Stacy Miller (Jason); his grandchildren, Eli Elsen (Maddy), Carey Denzer (Ryan), Nicole Shrake (Tyler), Jaden Miller and Cambrie Miller; his great grandchildren, Grayson, Huxley, Briggs, Haven and Rinnley; and his siblings, Tom (Diane), Gus (Brenda), Doug (Diane) and Clara Ann Elsen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
