Sherman E. Olson Obituary
The passing of Sherman E. Olson of Bangor, Wisconsin leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 15, 2025 at the age of 93. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Angus Olson and Florence Olson (Johnson); his wife Lou Jane; his siblings, Ardyce Johnson, Vernon, Curt, Art and Floyd Dennis; and his stepson Lee Koltermann.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Keuser (Gary), Pam Williams (Joe), Lauri Schultz (Jeff), Vicky Schreiner (John) and Ricky Olson; and his stepchildren, Lorna Wolfe, Susan Bute (Tuan), Lisa Koltermann, James and Carl Koltermann. He is also survived by his children; 33 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church (401 16th Ave N, Bangor, WI 54614). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Coon Valley Lutheran Cemetery (1005 Central Ave, Coon Valley, WI 54623).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred, especially to the Coon Valley American Legion Post #116 and the Coon Creek Fire Department.
