She was predeceased by: her parents, John Girolamo and Claire Girolamo (Bauer); her husband William "Bill" McKnight; and her brother Jimmy Girolamo. She is survived by: her daughter Candra Buchholtz of Eau Claire; her siblings, John Girolamo and Roseanne Walters Prachar of Mooselake, MN; and her close friends, Sandy Murphy (Richard) of Marble, NC and Jackie Bodette of Baraboo.
