With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel Edward Sonsalla of Baraboo, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 6, 2026 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Everest Sonsalla and Dorothy Sonsalla (Habermeyer); his brothers, David M. Sonsalla of Merrillan and Dean J. Sonsalla of Baraboo; his in-laws, Shermie, Dolores Thompson (Hull), Arah and Caroline Leonard; and his brother-in-law David Leonard.
He is survived by: his children, Stephanie John (Jeff) and Travis; his siblings, Diane Foreman (Will) of Otsego, Greg Sonsalla (Joy) of Baraboo and Vicki Harmon (Dale) of Mauston; the mothers of children, Cherie and Debbie; his nieces and nephews, Sarah (Justin), Amber, Dwight (Crystal), Whitney (Jake), Kyle, Shane (Katy), Dana, Shelly (Diana), Jacob and Jesse (Jess); his aunt Bernice Sonsalla of Independence; Heather Sonsalla of Merrillan, Becky and Brian. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
