He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Ziemke and Esther Ziemke (Luebke); his parents-in-law, Clarence and Thalia Jensen; his daughter-in-law Sherrie; and his siblings-in-law, Neil, Joanne Jensen, John, Hazel Mulryan and June Jensen.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Jensen of John's Lutheran Church; his sons, Richard of Baraboo and Dennis (Lisa Henke) of Baraboo; his grandchildren, Jeremy (Stephanie) of Kendall, John (Kimber) of Baraboo and Jenna of Baraboo; and his stepgrandson Forest Henke (Heather) of Baraboo.
