With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Francis A. Hohl (Baraboo, Wisconsin), who passed away on May 1, 2025 at the age of 98. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Francis A. Hohl to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Hohl and Agatha Hohl (Seidel); his children, Sharon Hohl and Dennis Hohl (Linda); his grandson Andrew Hohl; his siblings, Harvey Hohl and Cecilia Farley (Bill); and his brothers-in-law, Roman Kornhoff and Harold Heinrich.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Bach; his children, Duane Hohl (Laura), Vernon Hohl, Marilyn Marousek (Dale), Jerry Hohl, June Lee, Myron Hohl (Tamra), Karen Larson (Paul) and Mark Hohl (Sonya); his sister Dorothy Heinrich; and his sisters-in-law, Kay Hohl, Fern Laube and Marlene Bach. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (300 2nd St, Baraboo, WI 53913). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Rosemary Hohl to be used toward a donation to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Francis' name.
