He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Decorah and Eliza Decorah (Big Soldier); his siblings, Nancy, Ralph, Orlando and Raymond; and his granddaughter Christi.

He is survived by: his wife Karen Decorah (Fosgate); his stepchildren, Craig of Baraboo, Teresa Parchem of Baraboo, Sandy Parchem of Baraboo and Kim Stebbins of Baraboo; and his daughter Delores "Lori" Krause of Chippewa Valley. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
