He is survived by: his nephew David Thompson; and his cousins, Pam Wambold, Pat, Paul Pellet, Mike and Diane Marini. He is also survived by many other relatives and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (300 2nd St, Baraboo, WI 53913). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Fred's honor may be given to the Sauk County Historical Society.
