Joan D. McArthur Obituary

The passing of Joan D. McArthur (Baraboo, Wisconsin) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on November 18, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Grace Dederich and Ted Dederich (Plain); her siblings, Paul Dederich, Janet Mattix, Dorothy Dederich, Carl Dederich, Lorry Dederich and Jerry Dederich; her former husband John F. McArthur; and her son-in-law Loren Rossiter.

She is survived by: her husband Harry Gwynne; her children, Morgan McArthur (Kathy Heffernan) and Laura Rossiter (Steve Beckett); her grandsons, Evan Rossiter (Mallory) and David Rossiter (Ivy Mae); and her great grandchildren, Cohen, Shae and Quinn.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (300 2nd St, Baraboo, WI 53913).

Memorials or donations may be made to the St. Clare Hospital Foundation or the Baraboo Public Art Association.
