He was predeceased by : his parents, Hubert J. Dodge and Grace L. Dodge (Wilcox). He is survived by : his wife Sandy Vorndran; his son Matthew William (Misty); his friend Joe Maraszek; his son Michael Dodge (Katie); his grandchildren, Grayson, Nolan, Lilly, Emily and Jace; his siblings, Lucille Bledsoe and Joe Dodge (Wendy); and his sisters-in-law, Diane Marquardt (Dale) and Deb Hultgren (Dave). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Baraboo Food Pantry or the Neighborhood Supper.

“Sandy, matt, mike and family i am so sorry to hear of john’s passing. I have so many memories from our up north musky trips we had. Never many fish but lots of cards and laughs. The best part of those trips was john’s breakfasts he made. May you rest in piece john dodge gary dobson”
