With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph H. Wedekind of Baraboo, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 21, 2023 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joseph H. Wedekind to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph C. Wedekind and Lena Wedekind (Klingenmeyer); his wife Betty Jean; his siblings, Richard Wedekind, Henry Wedekind, James T. Wedekind, Betty Emery, Delores Otto and Rosemary Wedekind; and his son-in-law Roger Vollmer.

He is survived by : his children, John C. Wedekind (Debra) of Madison, James A. Wedekindof Portage (Donna), Joseph M. Wedekind (Gail) of Baraboo, Jeffrey L. Wedekind (Peggy Rynearson) of Madison and Jo Ellen Vollmer of Baraboo; his sister Irene Kalman; and his sisters-in-law, Judy Wedekind and Carol Wedekind. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. John's Lutheran Church.
