He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Eide and Darlene Eide (Ellefson); his son-in-law Nate; his wife Patricia Campbell; his parents-in-law, Vern and Marjorie Campbell; his brothers, LaMont and James "Jim" Eide; his nephews, Corey Herried and Thomas Anderson; and his close friend Alan Leopold.
He is survived by: his daughter Bethani of Baraboo; his grandsons, Sam, Max Curtis of Sun Prairie, Jon Leopold (Alyssa) of Reedsburg and Joe Leopold of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin; his great grandchildren, Edward and Dawson Leopold; his sisters, Linda Herried (David) of Viroqua, Wisconsin and Jean Anderson (Bruce) of Viroqua, Wisconsin; his aunts, Angela Hampton (Joe), Trudy Johnson (Dan) and Michelle Anderson; and his uncle Jason Anderson (Caitlin).
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 10:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Blaschke & Schneider Funeral Home (1501 West Ave S, La Crosse, WI 54601).
Memorials will be given to the Freedom Honor Flight of La Crosse, an organization with which Larry had the joy of participating in May 2024.
